Blade Runner has some awesome typographic logo designs scattered about the film. This is the badge for the hood of the flying police cars.
ITC Avant Garde is one of my favorite typefaces. The basic shapes are constructed from straight lines and circles giving text a modern geometric feel. This sculpture highlights the angular nature of the typeface. Only from one perspective does the sculpture render the words “Avant Garde”, while shifting angles the words elegantly dissolve into their component geometric shapes.
